This Mod is similar to the “Put Gender First on getperson.php” Mod, but in addition also removes the display of the Name from the table of data.

Put Gender First on getperson.php
This Mod moves the “Gender” line on the getperson.php page so that it is the first item listed.
It works with TNG 10.x, TNG 11.x, TNG 12.x and TNG 13.x
Page Title Change for TNG and WordPress
This is a TNG Mod .cfg file that changes a function in WordPress that lets the TNG page title show rather than the WordPress page title.
This works with the Suffusion 4.x.x theme, but since it actually modifies a WordPress function it may work with other WordPress themes also. (This is untested by me though).
It is assuming that you have WordPress in a folder that is beside your TNG folder, AND that the WordPress folder is called “wp” – i.e. your setup is as shown in this TNG Wiki article .
To use this, copy the downloaded .cfg file to the “mods” folder in your TNG installation, and then install it using the TNG Mod Manager.
TNG 10.1 First Names Mod
NOTE: This Mod is not applicable to TNG 12.x and TNG 13.x – similar features were added in to TNG 12

This Mod for TNG 10, originally developed by Steven Willingale, adds a set of pages that display First Names, and First and Middle Names, in a similar way that Surnames are already handled by TNG.
The Mod was revised for TNG 10 and TNG 10.1 by Roger Moffat.
This version for TNG 10.1 now includes the First Names Extra Mod, so it doesn’t need to be installed separately.
Version 10.1.0.1 includes a fix to prevent misuse of the forename(s)-oneletter.php files to attempt to load maliciously crafted URLs.
Version 10.1.0.2 makes the Mod TNG Mobile compatible, so pages display optimised for Desktop or Mobile display.
Version 10.1.0.3 fixes some bugs in the queries and counting results (some still remain – e.g. the report will show xx names where First Name = “Julie” but clicking to see those names will show a larger number as it will show “Julie” and “Juliette”. Similar for Ann and Anne.)
Version 10.1.0.4 fixes the problem noted above where a search for First Name = “Julie” would also find Juliet and Juliette as well as Julie.
Version 10.1.0.5 corrects the similar issue for the “Middle Names” part of this Mod – so “Elliot” is shown separately as a Middle Name from “Elliott” now.
Version 10.1.0.6 corrects an issue in the list of all First and Middle names when clicking on a name – thanks Michael Papousek for letting me know about this.

NOTE: after downloading and expanding this .zip file you will have a folder forenames_v10.1.x.x. Open that folder and upload the enclosed forenames_v101.x.x.cfg file and the folder forenames101 to the mods folder on your TNG site.
TNG 10.1 Create a Google Sitemap
This version is a Mod Manager .cfg file that allows you to install the Create Site Map file from inside Mod Manager. This version is for TNG 10.1 and higher. If you’re looking for the version for TNG 10.0 and lower use this version. If you’re looking for the version for TNG 12 use this version.
To use this, download the file, unzip it, and put it in your mods folder and then install it from the Mod Manager.
Once installed it places a button in Secondary Processes to click to “Create Site Map. This allows you to automatically create a Google sitemap.xml file to use to submit your TNG site’s contents to Google.com for indexing.

Google maps Add 4 Place Levels
This add on, delivered in the form of a “Mod Manager” config file will add 4 more place levels to the sequence of place levels available when geocoding places, AND it changes the layout of the Pin Legend under the Google map on the getperson.php pages from [pin] [=text] [pin] [=text] [pin] [=text] to a row of pins with the text (dynamically) superimposed on the pin. You can see the differences in this image:
This mod makes use of the Mod Manager is built into TNG.
To install this, download the .zip file. Unzip it and place the contents (a file and a folder) into “mods” folder in your TNG folder, then install it from the Mod Manager in TNG Admin.
It will:
- Copy a TrueType font – LiberationSans-Regular.ttf – to your TNG folder
- copy 5 map pin files to the img folder
- create 1 new files in your TNG folder
- google_text_marker.php – a script which combines the text and pin image into a single image
- Make some changes to TNG files to accommodate the extra place levels. Files changed are listed on the TNG Wiki article
This change is language aware – ie it will write the description on the pin in whatever language people are viewing your site in.
If you want to change the place levels that you have previously assigned to your places without editing each place you can add this mod for TNG Google maps Update Place Levels to do this. More details, including instructions on how to update your tng_places table to use the extra place levels can be found on the TNG Wiki on this page.

TNG Top 10 Surnames
A script that displays the top 10 surnames appearing in your TNG database with links to the lists of people with these surnames.
Version 10.1.x is for TNG 10.1 and above, and works with WordPress to include in the WordPress Text Widget as well as with TNG.

Surnames Tag Cloud
An add-on script for TNG that produces a “tag cloud” of the top 50 surnames in your TNG database and displays them.

TNG Deaths List
An add-on script for TNG that produces a list of deaths from your database. It is configurable to look into the future a specified number of days (default is 0), to work based on the user’s local time, has configurable output and supports multiple languages.
This version is compatible with TNG 10.1, and works with TNG 10.1, TNG 11.x, TNG 12.x, and TNG 13.x It is also capable of being used in WordPress in a widget that allows execution of PHP code – e.g. the Enhanced Text Widget.
Version 10.1.1 corrects a couple of errors that showed on some websites under some conditions.
Version 10.1.2 corrects an error introduced in 10.1.1.
Version 10.1.3 adds checks for Private people, and updates the queries, including fixes for PHP 8
