The road leads almost right to the door of Culross Abbey. The part straight ahead is still used as a church, the rest of the Abbey was to the right. The cemetery is up the rise to the left.

A view of the ruins of the Abbey. This view is from lower down the hill, note thickness of stone walls visible. The part of the Abbey still standing can be seen showing above the large stone walls in the foreground.

    Headstones
Headstone for William Deuar and Georg Deuar
Headstone for William Deuar and Georg Deuar
This headstone "seems" to have children from two families in it, both children, probably of the same mother Helen Blecket/Blackater but two different fathers - William Dewar and George Dewar. Inscription on stone says:

    GD HB 1736 ID 70 1793
    Here lyeth
    William Deuar
    who dyed Iune 1735
    age 4 years and
    Georg Deuar dyed
in Ianuary 1736 age 5 monthe

The GD and HB at the top likely refer to George Dewar and Helen Blackater. Not sure of what the other items mean.
