    Copy of Death Entry for John Dewar, Gardener, widower of Janet Ross, living at Lowvalleyfield in the Parish of Culross. Record gives parents as being James Dewar and Elizabeth Dewar M.S. Kirk. But these are actually his grand-parents, not his parents. The informant was Geo Dewar, his son.
